Claude Monet lived in Giverny, a village in the Upper Normandy region of northern France.  It was there, that he drew his inspiration for his famed water lily series.  And it is this garden, that inspired Laurence Thioune*.  Her beautiful scarf was first issued in 1989 and is a Must for any Hermes aficionado
